St. Patty's Day in Atlanta

Devin had his annual guys trip with some friends, so the kids and I decided to take a trip down to Atlanta to visit my best friend Suzanne and her family. It just happened to be the same weekend as her twin boys 4th Birthday as well as the Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a lot of fun and all the kids love playing together so much!

Quick trip to Ohio

One of the great things about being able to stay home with the kids is being able to visit family for last minute trips. So the kids and I decided to head up to Ohio and visit my sister Mandy and her family for my nephews Birthday and we had not seen them in a long time. It was quite the adventure driving up because not only did I miss my exit once I got into Columbus, but then it started to snow. I don't mind driving in snow normally, but I didn't know where I was exactly and the roads were actually pretty slick. Luckily we got there in one piece and the rest of the trip was great. It is hard to believe that we celebrated my nephews 8th Birthday! He has become an amazing young man and has such a tender heart. We love you Austin! Our dad also popped in for a nice surprise for a night. All the grandkids were very excited to see him! It was a great trip as always and made me miss my family. Maybe they should just all move closer to us :)

Cancun

This was one amazing trip! Devin worked really hard in 2012 and earned a trip to Cancun for us for 5 days and 4 nights. I have to brag on Devin here for just a minute because I am so proud of him. He works so hard and has never complained about it. I love seeing him happy with what he is doing. Thank you Devin for all you do for our family! So, everything on the trip was top notch and they really showed us what an amazing company TekSystems is to work for. I always have liked Devin working for Tek because they are family oriented and treat their employees very well, but this trip just made me love Devin working for them even more. The trip was very relaxing and we enjoyed spending time with our "Tek Family." So, thank you Tek for an amazing trip!

Cambria is 3!

Can my first born baby girl really be 3 already? The past 3 years have flown by and I just wish it would slow down a bit. Cami is funny, caring, loving, a wonderful big sister, smart, and one of the best things that has ever happened to us! She amazes us every day with all the new things she learns and comes up with. Thank you Lord for blessing us with being able to be her parents!

Tah Dah!

We get this look often from Cami now when she doesn't exactly like what we tell her to do or something we say. We sure do love this stinker!

We had lots of fun at "Pump it Up!"

Brayden always picks out an older kid (normally a girl) and doesn't want to leave their side. This time is was our friends daughter Haley. She was such a great sport about it.

Happy 3rd Birthday to our super sweet girl! We LOVE you so much!

Devin turns the BIG '3-0"

January 4th we celebrated Devin's BIG 30th Birthday with a surprise party with friends. I told him we were going to dinner and then to go listen to some music downtown. Well, we showed up at Jonathan's and he notices about 3 of our friends cars and started to get suspicious and asking a million questions. We walked in and there was about 20 of his friends there to celebrate him! We had a lot of fun and he was very happy. Also, thanks to Pinterest for the idea I got some of our family and friends to write Devin a letter just telling him what he meant to them or some fun memories. It was amazing to see what some of the people wrote and to see what he means to them. Devin is an amazing person, and I am so thankful people were willing to take the time to show and tell him. He said it meant more to him then any other present that he could of received. I am so thankful he was born too :)

Then as tradition has it, a few weeks later we did our 4th Annual Birthday Dinner with 2 of Devin's co-workers and their wives to Cantina Laredo. (If you live in Nashville or come to visit, it is a must eat at restaurant). Kwabene and Shaun's Birthday's are just a day after Devin's, so we make it a point every year to get together and celebrate. We love our friends and are very thankful for their friendships!

So Happy 30th Birthday Devin, we love you and can't wait for the next 30+ years!

Christmas (#3) 2012

What an amazing Christmas Season it was this year! We were suppose to be out in Oregon the week of Christmas this year, but due to Devin's work schedule and tickets we decided to just stay home. It was just the 4 of us and it was amazing! Although we missed being with extended family, it was nice to spend some good quality time together. The kids really enjoyed ripping into presents and then getting to play with their new toys. We also talked a lot about why we celebrate Christmas and how it is not just to get presents. Cami was so excited about "Celebrating Jesus' Birthday" that we had to make a cake. We mainly just laid around and relaxed on Christmas day. But, for Christmas dinner we ended up going to our Real Estate Agent's house who we have become friends with and another set of "grandparents" for Cami and Brayden. It was an amazing gormet dinner and we felt right at home. Thanks again Joe and Pat Rice for your hospitality!

Hope you enjoy a few snapshots of Christmas Eve and Day.

Love this smile and all his personality that is coming out full swing

Cami also loved her Cinderella doll. She kept on showing her to us and saying how pretty it was.

Only Christmas family shot we got... still love it :)

Christmas #1 and #2

This year we ended up celebrating Christmas 3 times-- first Papa and Nini, then Grampy and Nona, and then just the 4 of us at home. So needless to say it was a VERY busy Christmas season this year, but filled with plenty of amazing memories and lots of fun. Here are a few pictures from "Christmas in Birmingham" and our trip to Oregon to have our "Oregon Christmas." It was a lot of fun with the kids really getting into the first 2 Christms celebrations so it made Christmas Day a little bit more anticipated. But I am pretty sure Cami asked to "celebrate CHristmas" every day because she thought it was normal to do it with as much as we did this year. The kids are so blessed to have 2 sets of grandparents that love them so much!
