Happy 6th Anniversary to us!

Yes, I said 6 years! It is hard to believe it has been 6 years already since we stood in front of our family and friends and said "I do" on a perfect March day. To celebrate this year we decided to have a simple dinner at a Mexican restaurant downtown and then went to the Maroon 5 concert. Hands down had to be one of the best nights and concerts ever! Just a great reminder of where we are in our relationship. No we are not perfect and do not have the perfect relationship, but we could not ask to be in a better spot in the relationship. I know we will always have our ups and downs, but for now we are enjoying this time and trying to live day to day. We have been so blessed to have each other, given the gift to raise two amazing children, a great support system from family and friends, and a God who will never leave our side. So, Happy 6th Anniversary to us and cheers to many more to come!

St. Patty's Day in Atlanta

Devin had his annual guys trip with some friends, so the kids and I decided to take a trip down to Atlanta to visit my best friend Suzanne and her family. It just happened to be the same weekend as her twin boys 4th Birthday as well as the Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a lot of fun and all the kids love playing together so much!
the kids were amazed at the giant bouncy house going up for the twins birthday party

Quick trip to Ohio

One of the great things about being able to stay home with the kids is being able to visit family for last minute trips. So the kids and I decided to head up to Ohio and visit my sister Mandy and her family for my nephews Birthday and we had not seen them in a long time. It was quite the adventure driving up because not only did I miss my exit once I got into Columbus, but then it started to snow. I don't mind driving in snow normally, but I didn't know where I was exactly and the roads were actually pretty slick. Luckily we got there in one piece and the rest of the trip was great. It is hard to believe that we celebrated my nephews 8th Birthday! He has become an amazing young man and has such a tender heart. We love you Austin! Our dad also popped in for a nice surprise for a night. All the grandkids were very excited to see him! It was a great trip as always and made me miss my family. Maybe they should just all move closer to us :)
