Papa and Nini came to visit
This past week Nini and Papa came to visit and help out while Julie is still healing from the c-section. They were a ton of help and we had a lot of fun. Mom even made some of her famous Pot Roast and it was YUMMY! Cami loved having them around and was sad to see them go. But we did the famous "stand there and wave as the grandparents are leaving" wave. She just stood there waving yelling "Byeeeee" and blowing kisses. She has become such a character lately and we love seeing how she is growing and developing- such personality and so sweet. Here are just a few weeks from our wonderful week. Thanks again for all the help Nini and Papa!

A week already?!
It is hard to believe a week has past already since sweet Brayden decided to come into this world. We can't imagine life without him and he has been such a blessing. Devin was blessed enough to take off this whole last week to spend time with us and just hang out. He has been an amazing husband, father and supporter through this whole "early arrival" process. Couldn't of asked for a better man to be going through this journey with. Cami seems to be adjusting very well to having a little brother around. We are so proud of her! She is constantly wanting to see him and give kisses. Here are a couple pictures from our first week with Brayden. :-)

Always trying to give kisses or just wanting to see Brayden.

And Then There Were 4!
So let's back up a couple days and tell the story of how Brayden came into the world a couple weeks early (since some of you were asking). On Monday May 16th my doctor decided to pull me from work due to increase cramps/ contractions and was told to take it easy. A little easier said then done when you have a 16 month old and your husband had to go out of town due to work, but I managed to rest as much as possible. Luckily my good friend Suzanne came up to visit me the first day/ night Devin was gone and help out with Cambria and getting some of Brayden's clothes done. Thursday she had to go home, which was scary because I wasn't feeling too well. But we managed and I did good other than cramps/ contractions off and on all day. With that said I decided to take Cami to her babysitters for Friday so I could rest up really well and that definitely seemed to help. Finally Saturday morning Devin came home from his work conference and boy was I glad because the contractions started back up stronger, but once again went away eventually. Then Sunday morning I woke up and could barely walk because they were so bad. We decided I needed to go on in and get checked out(figuring they would just give me a shot or bag of fluids and send me home). So we dropped Cami off at Susans and headed to the hospital. Boy were we wrong! After being monitored and realizing my contractions were now only 2-3 minutes apart and starting to dilate more the doctor on call decided now was the time to go. So we called our parents to let them know they were going to have another grandkid that day and Devin had to run downstairs to buy a disposable camera (we literally didn't bring a thing to the hospital!). I laid there waiting and shaking realizing we were so not ready for him, but ready or not here he was coming. We were also somewhat nervous about lung development being 3 weeks early, but the doctor reassured us he felt good about Brayden's size and that worse case he might have to get a little oxygen for a bit. Still very scary! But praise to God Brayden came out screaming and not very happy to be in such a cold room. He quickly quieted down has been pretty relaxed every since. Cami wasn't too sure about him at first, but now seems to love him. She will just sit there and rub his head or give him kisses. We are very proud of her and how quick she is adjusting. Even after just a few days he has been such a blessing and I can't imagine our little family without him. Here are a few pictures thus far.

30 weeks down 9 more to go
Monday I went to my 30 week appt and everything is going great. I am actually measuring right at 30 weeks, Brayden's heart rate was 150 and thankfully my blood pressure is still good. Although we are 99.9% sure my doctor will deliver Brayden by C-section on June 3rd, we are officially booking the date at my next appoitment in 2 weeks. Now we just need to buckle down and actually get his crib set up and clothes washed. It is so funny that with Cami we had EVERYTHING set up by now, but this time we just have been so busy hardly anything has been done. Hopefully things will slow down a bit and we will get it done! Can't wait to meet our little guy here soon. :)

Happy 4 Year Anniversary!
4 years ago today my amazing mother was helping me get ready for a BIG day. Then I got to walk down the isle with my wonderful father and marry the man of my dreams. The day could not of been any more perfect! The support we received on our wedding day from everyone was overwhelming and we still appreciate it to this day. Devin is my best friend and the love of my life! He has truly made me a better, stronger, and more confident person then I was before I met him. We now 4 years later have a beautiful, intelligent daughter Cambria and are so excited to welcome baby Brayden in June. I look forward to all the years to come and new adventures we have before us. Thank you Devin for being a man of God and continuing to grow and guide our family in the right direction. Thank you friends and family for all the love and prayers over the years as well. Happy Anniversary Devin and I love you with all my heart!
