Finally Here!

Well I am a little late posting this, but Cambria Faith is finally here! January 22, 2010 at 7:06 pm she arrived weighing 8 pds 9 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. Papa and Nini (Julie's parents) were here for the delivery and got to stay for a whole week. They were a huge blessing and very helpful, but I guess since this is their 5th grandchild they have a lot of experience. :) The week after would of been a lot harder if it was not for them being here still, due to some minor complications for Julie after having Cambria. Mandy (Julie's sister) was suppose to be able to come down the next weekend, but because of weather was unable to make the trip. We were very sad she couldn't come, but excited to see her next week instead. Cambria got to experience her first snow at just 1 week old! Devin's parents also got to come visit from Oregon for a short trip this week. This is their 1st grandchild, so their first meeting was very exciting. We are sad to see them have to go back so soon, but we will get to go visit at the end of March.

Cambria has been such a joy and we are loving every minute of it. She is a true blessing from God and we thank him every day for her. Please continue to pray for us as we raise her. Also a prayer for Julie as she heals and is still in some pain/ discomfort. Hope all is well and thank you for all the love, support, and prayers thus far. Enjoy some of the pictures below!

Been a long time

Life as normal has been busy. A lot has happened in the past 3 months. Just a few key events... Back at the end of October Devin's parents came to visit. It was a wonderful visit and we really enjoyed them being here. It was their first time in Nashville and they got to do a lot of exploring around town. Then the first weekend of November we had a baby shower for Cambria. We were very blessed with so many friends coming and having both grandmothers there. The hostesses put on a fabulous baby shower! My sister and her two little boys got to come down as well to help.

Next fun event was Thanksgiving.... Devin and I made a fun trip to Columbus, OH to spend Thanksgiving with my sister and her family. On the way up we also got the wonderful news that my sister-in-law Mary Anne had her gorgeous little girl Reese Elizabeth. Very exciting to think Cambria and Reese are going to be so close in age!

A couple weeks later we thought we might be meeting Cambria a little bit early. I started having labor pains so we made a fun trip to the hospital. They kept us overnight, but Cambria decided she wanted to stay in a little bit longer :) Unfortunately because of this, my doctor did not want me traveling anymore so we stayed in Nashville for Christmas. It turned out to be a wonderful Christmas just Devin and I, although we missed both sides of our family. My mom and dad, sister and her family, came up the day after Christmas to hang out for the night. It was nice to have some family time.

We are now down to the final days of just Devin and I. My doctor has had me off work since 1/5/10, so the waiting has really been killing us! Our doctor is going to go ahead and induce us on Jan. 22nd! We are both so excited, and ready for her to get here. We thank everyone for all the prayer and support during this time. Can't wait for you all to meet her next week!!

Favorite time of year!

We don't really have a lot to say, but here are a couple pictures of us getting ready for Cambria. Her crib and bed are set up, but still have a lot to do! We have enough to keep us busy, but are feeling VERY impatient right now wanting to meet our bundle of joy :)She has been kicking like crazy. Funny thing is though that if she is doing her gymnastics, as soon as daddy walks in the room she calms down. Guess he soothes her already!

Julie at 24 weeks!

Picture of us standing on the "walking bridge" going from downtown Nashville over to the Titans stadium.

We are also very excited to have Devin's parents come visit us for the first time. They are getting to stay for 10 days! While they are here we are getting to go visit Asheville, NC. We went last year just the two of us and loved it! I am sure I will have plenty of photos to post.

Babymoon

We just got back from out "Babymoon" and it was wonderful. We made lots of memories just hanging out and being kids again. We got there Thursday at around noon and it was pretty over cast, so we decided just to go get some lunch. While there it started pouring like a monsoon... not a good sign! But when we made our way back to San Destin it was gorgeous and looked like it had not even rained there. This is what it looked like the rest of our trip until Saturday (the day we left) it was dreary again. But the rain gave us a good excuse to go to a little shopping at the outlets. Devin also surprised me with a prenatal massage on Saturday and it was a dream. We have had so much stuff going on in our lives (as does everyone) that it felt good to just relax and have forget about all our worries. God truly blessed us this weekend and with our time together.

These are just a couple pictures from the trip. I am going to try and set up Picasa tonight though so you can see the rest.

Also a big thanks to my parents again who watched Marley so we could go on this trip.

Moving a lot

This is the picture of Cambria at my 20 week appointment. She is growing strong at 10 inches long and weighs about 11 ounces. The day before our 20 week appointment I got to feel Cambria move on the outside for the first time. When I got home to tell Devin he was so excited and is very eager to be able to feel her as well. The doctor cleared me of Placenta Previa (thank you for all your prayers), but it is still considered low lying (which the doctor is not concerned about because that means it is moving). Since we I am cleared we are taking our last trip to Destin, FL beach just the two of us before Cambria gets here. To break up the drive we are staying with mom and dad Wed. night and then drive the rest of the way Thursday morning. Marley will get to stay with Papa and Nini (my mom and dad) and play with Lilly. We will post pictures from our "Babymoon" when we return. Hope all is well and we miss you guys! Love you all!

We are so excited!

There is no beating around the bush because I think everyone knows now... we are having a GIRL!!! To be honest everyone was telling us we were having a girl, so when they said "It's a girl" we were not suprised. We are SO excited and can't wait for everyone to meet Cambria Faith Zupan! Doctor also said everything looked good with her and she was right one track. As far as me goes though, there is just one small issue with low lying placenta. But doctor said not to worry because it normally corrects itself, and it is pretty common. Just can't do anything strenuous until I go back to the doctor Sept. 10th for another ultrasound. Just please say a little prayer for us! Can't believe we will be 20 weeks on Friday... Cambria is starting to move quit a bit. All it feels like right now is fluttering, so I am sure the kicking will start sooner or later!

We were in Oregon right at 16 weeks, so I forgot to take my "monthly" picture so this one is more like 17 weeks. My mother-in-law gave us a wonderful baby shower while we were there and we received some gorgeous little outfits. It made it so much more real and so much more exciting to be having a baby shower. A little surreal. My father-in-law cooked some wonderful Salmon and Tri-tip and other wonderful friends brought some very yummy food to go with it. Seeing friends we had not seen since last Christmas was a lot of fun, especially playing corn hole!

2 weekends ago mom and dad came up to help us take care of some stuff around the house and visit. We ended up painting Cambria's room, our bedroom, and our bathroom. Bellow is the beginning of the nursery! Dad then helped Devin split up the 90 ft. tree we had taken down at the beginning of the summer and just have not been able to get split up. It took them a VERY long time, but feels so good for it to be done. We have a lot of firewood if anyone needs any!

Devin's parents will be here to visit for the first time in October, so we are getting excited about that. We are thinking about taking them to Ashville, NC to show them the Biltmore Hotel/ Estate and the other sites. The town of Ashville is so cute and we absolutely fell in love with it last year when we visited.

Devin's job is going really well and he is still loving it. I have to brag on him for a minute because about 2 months ago he started doing a dual roll of Recruiter and then Account Manager for Nissan. This past week he got his first start with Nissan as the Account Manager for them! He is working so hard and I am so proud of him. My job is going pretty well, but nothing to exciting. I did just moved onto a different team last month and it went very well. It will be a lot busier then I am use to, but I don't mind at all. Maybe it will make time go by faster with Cambria on the way!

Big Changes

So to start off, and long over due, we had a wonderful trip to Alabama over July 4th with my WHOLE family. It was a lot of fun, and much needed. The last time we were all able to be together was my wedding. It is so much fun to see Austin and Jackson playing and to see all the new things Jake is doing. Just getting to stay up and chat with each other was awesome and very enjoyable.

Also, most of you already know by now, but we are expecting our first child January 29, 2010! We are VERY excited and cannot wait to meet the blessing we are receiving. I go this Thursday for my 12/13 week check up, and we get to hear the heart beat! Well, this won't be the first time due to my car wreck last week we got to hear it at the ER. The heartbeat was racing strong at 165. I will post some pictures later. Thank you for all your prayers so far.

The next couple months are going to be very busy. We have a couple friends getting married, a trip to Oregon, and many other events. I am very excited to see old college friends, who I haven't seen since our wedding 2 years ago. We are also VERY excited for my brother and sister-in-law who are expecting in November. This will be our first niece!

So I hope all is well with everyone. We miss you all and can't wait to see you soon!
