Getting some air!

The jumper is her favorite thing to do right now. If she is upset, this is one of the main things that distracts her and makes her happy!

Life's a Dance

The song lyrics "Life's a dance you learn as you go..." seem to play thru my head a lot lately. We have gone thru a lot of changes the past 4 1/2 months just like any first time parents. With Julie going back to work almost two weeks ago and Cami in child care, we are learning to adjust and get into our new routine. Cambria is at our friends house and with one other little boy named Malachi 4 days a week and then at ours on Fridays. She seems to really be doing well with Rebekah (the friend that watches her) and Malachi(Devin's co-workers little boy). It is a lot of fun to sit and watch them play and even laugh at each other. Malachi is 4 months older to the day which seems to be really helping Cambria with her motor skills in just the couple days she has been there.

Cambria is also really starting to take an interest in Marley lately. She will just sit in her exersaucer and laugh at her or just stare. It is very cute and I have a feeling she is already falling in love with Marley.
Our swaddle days are coming to an end. Cami started kicking off the bottom, and now she wiggles out of the top as well. Very funny to watch!

Cami 3 month pics

My friend Leslie made the flower headband and tutu.
This one is for my mom... I wore this outfit when I was a baby as well
She is getting very curious now adays. She is officially rolling over from her back to tummy and tummy to back. Growing up way to quick.

Happy Times

So Cambria started giggling last week. We caught it on our phones, but it won't seem to upload on here. Hopefully we will be able to catch it on our video camera soon and will upload it. She is getting so big and is just so cute if I do say so myself. It is hard to believe that she is already 3 months! She is also starting to really scoot around on her back, but still no rolling over yet. I am sure she will soon though. Other news Julie went back to the doctor yesterday and got a good report. She will go back in 4 weeks and hopefully will be cleared to be active again. It will be bittersweet because this also means she will be back to work within a week of this appointment. We will be taking Cami to an at home child care with one other little boy. We know she will be in great hands, but as we all know it is never easy leaving your child with someone else all day. So please say a prayer for us as we start to go thru this transition. Devin has been working extra hard and we are all very proud of him. He was the first recruiter in his office to hit quarterly contest. His hard work is really paying off! Next month or so we don't have exciting trips or anything, but we are very excited to take a trip to Boston to visit Julie's brother and family for the 4th of July. We have never been up North during the summer so it should be fun! Hope all is well and next time hopefully I will have a video of Cambria laughing for all to enjoy as much as we do.

Time is Flying

One thing we have learned is that children really do grow up so quick. Yes we hear it all the time, but never knew what it feels like until you are going thru it with your own child. Cambria will be 3 months on the 22nd, and we can't believe it. She has been such a blessing and a great baby. A couple big events for her has been her rolling over to her left side once, rolling from tummy to back a couple times, and and has been sleeping thru the night since she was 6 weeks old.

We just got back from Oregon the day before Easter and the trip was a lot of fun. Cambria got to meet her Aunt Chelsea and Great Grandparents (Devin's grandparents). Below is a picture of us with Cambria's Great Grandparents and a picture of us at the coast. Cambria really seemed to love Banca's mustache (Great grandfather) and Banca was so cute with her.

When we got home from Oregon the whole Faith side of family was in town (all 13 of us)! It was a lot of fun getting to meet our niece Reese Elizabeth Faith. She was so adorable and her and Cambria got along great! :) All the boys played well and definitely enjoyed being together again. Everyone came to our church and then we went to lunch at P.F.Changs.

So we had a blast going to Oregon and then getting to come home to more family. Felt nice!

1 month and growing!

Can you believe it has already been a month since Cambria came into our lives! She has blessed us so much in the short time that she has been here. The smiles and the noises have kept us entertained and eager to see what she will do next. We went to the doctor today for her 1 month check up and get her 2nd Hepatitis shot, which she was not to happy about. Her pediatrician was very happy about her progress. Cambria weighed in at 9 pds. 13 ounces and is now 22 1/4 inches long. We will go back next month for her next set of shots. Over Valentine's weekend we also got to finally have our visit from Julie's sister Mandy and her boys. Both boys were very excited to hold Cambria. Austin in particular was so excited he actually held her before Mandy. It was so much fun to have them in town for a couple days.

Here is Cambria at 1 month! She has so much personality and has been making a lot of funny noises. We like to call them her "farm animal" noises. Hopefully one day I can get a recording of them to post on here. There is no way you can't smile when you see her, much less hear her making these noises.

We are also very excited where next month is going to take us. The end of March we are taking our first big trip to Oregon to visit Grandma and Grandpa Zupan. Cambria will get to meet for the first time her Great Grandmother and Grandfather Zupan and her Aunt Chelsea. As soon as we get back to Nashville, all of Julie's family will actually be in town for Easter, so Cambria will get to meet her other Aunts, Uncles and cousins. It will be fun to see all the grandchildren together, especially Cambria with her cousin that is only 2 months older.

Well, we thank you all for the prayers and support. Have a blessed day!

Finally Here!

Well I am a little late posting this, but Cambria Faith is finally here! January 22, 2010 at 7:06 pm she arrived weighing 8 pds 9 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. Papa and Nini (Julie's parents) were here for the delivery and got to stay for a whole week. They were a huge blessing and very helpful, but I guess since this is their 5th grandchild they have a lot of experience. :) The week after would of been a lot harder if it was not for them being here still, due to some minor complications for Julie after having Cambria. Mandy (Julie's sister) was suppose to be able to come down the next weekend, but because of weather was unable to make the trip. We were very sad she couldn't come, but excited to see her next week instead. Cambria got to experience her first snow at just 1 week old! Devin's parents also got to come visit from Oregon for a short trip this week. This is their 1st grandchild, so their first meeting was very exciting. We are sad to see them have to go back so soon, but we will get to go visit at the end of March.

Cambria has been such a joy and we are loving every minute of it. She is a true blessing from God and we thank him every day for her. Please continue to pray for us as we raise her. Also a prayer for Julie as she heals and is still in some pain/ discomfort. Hope all is well and thank you for all the love, support, and prayers thus far. Enjoy some of the pictures below!
